I've lived in St. Francisville, LA. all my life. I have three children, one son-in-law, one granddaughter, and one grandson; Emley Daniel Rogers & Christopher Rogers, their daughter "PJ", and son Easton, Lizzie Daniel and Derek Daniel.
On November 11, 2006, I had my first stroke. It left me with left side paralysis. Other than a few things that I could not do, like play the guitar, life returned to pretty much normal. Then on January 6, 2014, I had a massive stroke, that left me with paralysis on both sides and very little voice. Fast forward to now, I am still going to therapy three days a week and although slow, I can still feel improvements. I refuse to let this define who I am or what I can do. I owe so much to my faith, my family, my friends and my community. For without them this would have been nearly impossible. This is why moving forward, my goal is to help those who don't have the people or the resources to get back outdoors.
This is all very new, so we don't have all the kinks worked out, but stick with us and we will get it straight.
This truly is, "Where the Wheels Meet the Woods" and just because your down doesn't mean your done. In the words of Lance Walker and the late great Speedy Spell, "AIN'T NO FLIES ON US."
